Written as a prequel to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the book marries the classic Gothic milieu with very contemporary themes such as representation of marginalised communities, LGBTQ relationships, feminism and friendship.

Gothic, intoxicating, feminist and romantic – this is the breathtakingly imagined untold story of the brides of Dracula.

Kiran Millwood Hargrave

Kiran Millwood Hargrave is an award-winning poet, playwright, and bestselling novelist. Her debut novel for children The Girl of Ink & Stars won the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, and was named the British Book Awards Children’s Book of the Year. The Deathless Girls is her first novel for Young Adults and has been shortlisted for the YA Book Prize. She’s a graduate of both Oxford and Cambridge Universities and lives by the river in Oxford with her husband and cat.
