The ancient practice of yoga works on essential well-being through integration of mind, body and breath. Yoga’s aim is spiritual enlightenment, but there are also many potential health benefits, including reduced stress, improved mobility and increased flexibility and strength.

This intermediate-level class, led by experienced yoga teacher, Kirsten Agar Ward, is designed for those with over a year of yoga experience. This will mostly be a practical class including some chanting practice and ending with relaxation.

Yoga is practised in bare feet. Wear comfortable and unrestrictive clothing – shorts or leggings and a t-shirt are ideal. Don’t eat just before the sessions! Participants may wish to bring a blanket or thick towel for their comfort.
