Bradford Literature Festival couldn’t happen without the dedicated team of full-time staff, freelancers and volunteers who work together on the event each year. See below for details of jobs currently available at the festival.

City Park Family Activity – Tendering Now

We’re looking for an imaginative, immersive and show-stopping theatre/ events company to deliver our annual Free Family Fun Day activity in Bradford’s award winning City Park.

2020 dates and themes as follows:

Saturday 27th June – Superheroes

Sunday 28th June – Peter Pan

Saturday 4th July – The Circus

Sunday 5th July – Witchcraft & Wizardry

Current Vacancies

Festival Administrator

Job Title: Festival Administrator

Basic Terms: 12-month fixed term contract with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Location: Bradford

Salary: £18k – £22k (pro-rata) dependent upon experience

Working Hours: 9am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday

Flexibility is essential and long hours will be required during the festival period.

Reports to: Syima Aslam – CEO & Artistic Director

Volunteering at the Festival

In addition to our core staff, hundreds of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers join us at the festival each year. Volunteers come from many different walks of life, but all come away with new experiences, ideas and contacts. We will be recruiting for volunteers for this year’s festival in the spring.
