Jo Pinto

Born in Porto, Portugal, Jo Pinto moved to the UK to study Illustration and Animation at the Cambridge School of Art. In her final year of university, she created the award-winning short animation Jacinta, which brings to life the ceramic creatures of Portuguese potter Rosa Ramalho. Jo has also worked on stop motion animation workshops with children, and as a graphic recorder, visually recording live talks at festivals. Jo is now writing and illustrating a children’s picture book while studying Sequential Design and Illustration at the University of Brighton.
