Arvind Ethan David

Arvind Ethan David is a writer and producer, whose career started when he adapted the Douglas Adams novel Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency as his high school play, and the great author came to see it and took David under his wing.

He has written seven graphic novels, most recently an adaptation of Raymond Chandler’s Trouble Is My Business. He is currently writing his mystery novel The Dread & The Envy which will be released in 2026. He has also written multiple hit Audible Originals including the sci-fi anthology series Earworms and The Crimes of Dorian Gray.

David is a lead producer of the Grammy and Tony-winning musical Jagged Little Pill. The Boy With Wings, David’s children’s musical based on the best-selling books by Sir Lenny Henry, is at the Polka Theatre in London. He is co-writing and producing a live adaptation of the Douglas Adams masterwork The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy which opens in London in November.
