BLF also has the largest Education Programme of any UK festival, which is deeply integrated within the main festival, giving children and young people unparalleled access to world-renowned authors, poets, writers, and distinguished speakers. Inspiring a love of words and nurturing literacy is also at the heart of our year-round Community programmes.
A leader in social inclusion, accessibility and representation, BLF is creating spaces that are welcoming for all. We pioneered ‘Ethical Ticketing,’ allowing free access for those who would not otherwise have the means to afford cultural events.
