Description
Across the North of England, textile mills once stood as the engines of the Industrial Revolution, shaping communities and skylines alike. Today, many of these historic structures have found new life, repurposed into homes, studios, cultural spaces, and more.
In Mills Transformed, photographer Neil Horsley documents the remarkable regeneration of over 30 such mills. Through striking images and compelling narratives, the exhibition celebrates the visionaries who have reimagined these spaces, blending heritage with innovation.
This exhibition offers a unique reflection on the region’s industrial past and its evolving future. It stands as a testament to resilience, creativity, and the enduring spirit of northern communities.
