Bradford Literature Festival celebrates 10 years
In 2024, Bradford Literature Festival (BLF) will celebrate it’s 10th year with 10-days of the best of literature, music, theatre, cultural discussions, lectures and family events (28 June – 7 July).
2023 welcomed a record audience of 115,000 (67% of whom attended for free), and brought the world to Bradford and Bradford to the world.
BLF is a not-for-profit CIC. We believe in making arts accessible to all. Your donation supports free tickets for individuals, families, schools and community groups who would not otherwise be able to take part.

Education Programme 2024
Bradford Literature Festival (BLF) has developed an expansive, free Education Programme that invites leading writers, performance poets, illustrators, scientists, historians, journalists, among many others, to share their skills through live shows, performances and interactive workshops.
Each day features exciting events, following a curriculum-targeted theme, champions an inclusive curriculum that fosters different perspectives on taught topics.
This year’s themes range from Ancient Egypt to Shakespeare, Gothic Literature to Climate Change, as well as events on Fairy Tales, Activism, and more!
