
Alan Dix
Alan Dix is the Artistic Director of Bradford based 509 Arts making accessible theatre performances, exhibitions and digital events regionally and nationally. Alan moved to Bradford in 1967 – when Bradford’s textile industry was a major employer in the district. His work in theatre has involved communities across the UK and abroad and 509 Arts is built upon creative conversations that enable imaginative interpretations of their stories. He is currently Chair of Time and Tide Bell – a national coastal climate consortium – and Lancaster Arts.
