
Anna Liu
Anna Liu is a qualified architect with over 15 years of experience in architecture, art, and landscape. Born in Taiwan and raised in the United States. In 2002, she co-founded the architectural practice Tonkin Liu with Mike Tonkin. Their work explores patterns in nature and human nature, aiming to amplify sensory experiences and connect deeply with community identities. Anna has taught at institutions including the Architectural Association School of Architecture, University of Westminster, and universities in Japan and Taiwan. She is also a trustee of Open City, an organization dedicated to making architecture and the urban landscape more open, accessible, and equitable.
