
Griff Rhys Jones
Celebrated Welsh actor, comedian, writer, and television presenter Griff Rhys Jones rose to fame in the early 1980s, alongside Mel Smith in iconic BBC sketch shows Not the Nine O’Clock News. He also co-founded Talkback Productions, later the influential company Modern Television . In 2004 Griff Rhys Jones was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters for his outstanding contributions to television and film comedy, the theatre.
