Bradford Literature Festival (BLF) is a Community Interest Company (CIC), which means we are a social enterprise with a social purpose at our heart. Everything we do is driven by our mission to create a fairer society and change lives through world-class arts, literature, and education.

Each year, the festival is made possible by the generosity of our funders, partners, sponsors, and people like you. Your support helps us bring inspiring ideas, stories, and voices to Bradford, and to audiences from across the UK and beyond.

We believe everyone should have access to arts, literature and education regardless of their age, ability, or socio-economic background.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference. It helps us deliver an ambitious and inclusive festival programme, including our much-loved free Family Fun Days, ensuring that young people and families can experience the joy of books, creativity, and learning without barriers.

By donating to Bradford Literature Festival you help us to maintain our ethical pricing policy. This keeps ticket prices affordable and allows us to offer free and reduced-price tickets to those who need them most.

Lasting Legacy

Your gift, no matter the size, will support free and affordable events, nurture young readers and writers, and keep world class literature and culture accessible to everyone in our community for years to come.

Pay It Forward

Ticket prices start at £7 for wellbeing events, with a standard ticket price of £10 for most events. A donation of just £20 can help cover the cost of 2 tickets for people who would otherwise be unable to attend. Your generosity pays it forward, opening doors to ideas, inspiration, and conversation for others in our community.

With your support, we can continue to attract celebrated authors, thought-provoking thinkers, and exciting new voices in literature and the arts, while ensuring our events remain accessible to everyone, regardless of age, ability, ethnicity, or socio-economic background.

Together, we can keep Bradford Literature Festival open, welcoming, and transformative for all.
