It’s On In Bradford, one of BLF’s Cultural Partners, is a dedicated platform to discover arts and culture events and activities across the Bradford district. Launched in 2024, it’s the go-to digital hub to find amazing entertainment in the city, from exhibitions to gigs, theatre performances to craft workshops.
It’s On In Bradford is managed by Out of Place Studio with support from Bradford City of Culture 2025, Bradford Metropolitan District Council, The Leap and Bradford Producing Hub.
Bradford Literature Festival (BLF) was chosen as a flagship event to be promoted on this new platform in 2024. With a tailored collection on the It’s On In Bradford site, and social posts highlighting events taking place each festival weekend, it created another way for audiences to discover and book fantastic BLF events throughout the 10 day festival.

With over 600 events in 2024, and over 700 in 2025, uploading each of BLF’s individual events to an external site would be a mammoth task. However, the team at It’s On In Bradford implemented software which lifts events from one site to another; a huge support to the BLF team during an already busy time of year. This integration also meant attendees have the most up-to-date information on hand.
It’s On In Bradford showcases BLF events alongside a wider cultural offer throughout the district, and means festival events reach new audiences who may not have visited previously. For annual BLF attendees, it’s another way to discover even more arts and culture experiences to enjoy across the city.

Emma Price, Head of Marketing and Programming at BLF, said, “Bradford Literature Festival is delighted to see how effectively It’s On In Bradford has showcased our programme for two years running. The site makes it easy for audiences to browse our line-up thanks to clear filters and a dedicated landing page, and the added social media promotion extended our online reach even further. It’s On In Bradford has proven itself as a powerful tool for bringing Bradford’s cultural offer together in one place, and we’re excited to see the impact it will continue to have on the city’s arts scene.”
Hannah Lewis, Digital Engagement Officer at It’s On In Bradford, said, “As a major festival in Bradford and one of the largest literature festivals in the UK, it’s been really important to us to partner with Bradford Literature Festival to showcase their varied programme to our audiences and highlight a brilliant moment in the city’s cultural calendar. We worked with BLF in 2024 and 2025 and were delighted to become an official cultural partner in 2025. We thoroughly enjoyed attending events and sharing coverage on our social media, and we’re excited to see how the partnership continues to grow.”
