Shahid Bukhari is a Unani Medicine practitioner (Tabeeb/Hakim), educator, and author with expertise in naturopathy, homeopathy, iridology, herbal medicine, and acupuncture. With extensive clinical experience in Manchester and London, he integrates traditional Unani principles with modern holistic approaches to support patient well-being. As the founder and principal of a diploma program in Unani Medicine, he has trained numerous practitioners in both the theoretical and practical applications of this centuries – old healing system. His areas of expertise include pulse analysis, temperament assessment, Hijama (cupping), Tung acupuncture, and bespoke herbal formulations. Shahid is also the author of Foundations of Unani Medicine , a comprehensive exploration of this traditional healing system, bridging classical knowledge with contemporary practice. An engaging speaker, he has delivered lectures, workshops, and talks across the UK and internationally, sharing his insights into Unani medicine, holistic health, and traditional diagnostics.

Professor Rasjid Skinner
Professor Rasjid Skinner is a Clinical Psychologist and Jungian Analyst, and a leading figure in the field of Islamic Psychology. He is a co-founder of Ihsaan, an organisation offering therapeutic services grounded in Islamic psychological principles and integrated with traditional Unani medicine. Widely published, Rasjid has contributed extensively to the development of Islamic Psychology and has lectured at numerous UK universities, including the Cambridge Muslim College. He also holds Visiting Professorships at the University of Karachi and the International Islamic University in Islamabad.
