Cath Staincliffe, Jess Kitching

Northern Noir at the Bar

Description

The moors don’t forgive. The terraces keep secrets. And round here, everyone knows your business, which is precisely the problem. Grab a drink and settle in for one of Bradford Literature Festival’s most beloved evenings.

Bobby Cussens, Cath Staincliffe and Jess Kitching, three writers who know that the north is as much a state of mind as a place on a map. Join them as they explore why this landscape breeds the darkest, sharpest, most compulsive crime fiction anywhere.

Expect grit, gallows humour and the particular pleasure of fiction that feels like it knows exactly where you live.
