Description
What happens when we stop imagining the future through human eyes?
Join M R Carey and Tony Patrick for a fascinating exploration of how contemporary science fiction reimagines intelligence, civilisation and survival beyond the limits of the human perspective. From evolving ecosystems and parallel realities to radically different forms of consciousness, their work challenges assumptions about what it means to think, feel and exist.
Together they explore why writers turn to non-human perspectives to grapple with questions of identity, responsibility and adaptation, and what these imagined futures reveal about the hopes, anxieties and possibilities of our own age.
