Description
Join us for a talk from Bradford born and raised, London based, Sonja Shah-Williams, Ayurveda practitioner, teacher and author as she shares the wisdom and life-changing principles of Ayurveda, the ancient Indian philosophy and science of life, in a clear and concise language, that speaks to anyone who wishes to better navigate the chaos and frenzy of the contemporary world.
Shah-Williams has worked with scores of people for over a decade to help them to transform their lives through the deep wisdom held in Ayurveda about how to live a balanced life, and understand the true meaning of holistic harmony, by first getting to know themselves. Ayurveda shows us how we are a copy of the universe and part of the natural world.
Her second book, an audiobook, An Ancient Tapestry for Modern Life, explains how Ayurveda shows us how we uniquely respond to food, exercise, lifestyle, our relationship with ourselves and others, the time of day, the seasons and our stage of life.
The eternally applicable messages cut through all the modern-day confusion around the subject of health and balance, and are relevant for anyone, regardless of age, sex, gender, ethnicity, beliefs and religion.
Please note, this venue has changed from the printed programme. Due to popular demand, we have added an additional event at 10:30.
