About the Artist
DJ Dave The Ruf
DJ Dave the Ruf set up, ran and made records as JEEP BEAT COLLECTIVE & MINDBOMB on his influential RUF BEATS label from 1993-2005 taking in hip hop, electro big beats and breakbeats and DJ’ed throughout the UK, Europe and more. From 2005-2014 he joined STUMBLEFUNK free party sound system crew and regularly played at their events and at Beatherder Festival too. He founded Manchester’s legendary Drum Music monthly club night which ran from 2005 to 2016. He is a world renowned record seller (seller davetheruf on discogs) and DJ’s with a vast eclectic bag of vinyl treats and beats for heads and dancefloors.
