Description

Mike Dickson is the entrepreneur, philanthropist and former CEO of Whizz-Kidz, the pioneering children’s charity that has raised more than £150 million to support disabled young people across the UK.

Drawing on decades spent helping charities, social enterprises and individuals create meaningful change, Mike joins Bradford Literature Festival to discuss his new book, How to Be a Better Human, a moving reflection on kindness, purpose, generosity and what truly matters in life.

In a world shaped by noise, division and overwhelm, this promises to be a thoughtful, warm and deeply uplifting conversation about compassion, human connection and the extraordinary power of simply showing up for others.
