Our Literature Unlocked days are free, family fun days taking place on each Saturday and Sunday during the festival in City Park. Join us for creative escapades and wild adventures with live theatre and music performances on the City Park Stage, free arts and crafts activities, storytelling sessions and lots more.

Unlock your creative side with these fun, free craft activities for all the family.

Funky Flowers

Adventure to the bottom of the garden and you’ll find funky flowers like you’ve never seen before! Join this exciting craft session and dream up your own fabulous blooms to make and take home with you.

Flouncing Flamingos

Can you play croquet with a flamingo? Be just like Alice and give it a go. Create your very own bouncing, flouncing flamingo in this fun craft activity perfect for budding adventurers.

Cheshire Cat Mask

Grin just like the Cheshire Cat with your very own Cheshire Cat Mask. Transform your smile and play the mischievous trickster and see who you can pop up and surprise!

All these craft activities are free. Just drop in to the Imagination Station at City Park between 10.00am and 4.00pm to join in the fun.

About the Artist

Morwenna Catt

Morwenna is an artist and illustrator based in Yorkshire and Norway. She has a love of all things textile but especially enjoys creating magical bird and animal sculptures. She has worked on many large-scale projects and events around the Country, as both a Creative Director and as a hands-on artist, designing and making extravagant costumes, props and scenic structures. She worked as an artist on the very first Bradford Literature Festival and has been devising the arts activities for the family fun days since 2018.
