Description

Join editor, Kat Brown, and contributor, Noni Martins, for a conversation that’s seldom heard. No One Talks About This Stuff is an anthology for almost-parents.

It is a place that shares journeys of loss and limbo, to confront social pressure and to find courage in the darkness of tragedies that happen every day, yet are often brushed under the carpet.

In this thought-provoking, honest and vulnerable discussion, Brown and Martins open a much-needed conversation about society, family and honouring the missing children we will never forget.

Please note, this venue has changed from the printed programme.

About the Speaker

Noni Martins

Noni Martins is a former IVF patient who is passionate about using her experience to offer a diversity lens and nuance to the dialogue on infertility & IVF.

Noni tried to conceive for 6 years, 3 of which she spent undergoing 6 unsuccessful IVF cycles. After not finding the safe space to have the conversations and the dialogue she was looking for, Noni decided to create her own and that’s how Unfertility came to be.

Through her website Noni uses her experience to raise awareness about unconventional fertility journeys. As well as contributing to the wider conversation on infertility & IVF. Earlier this year and 7 years in the making, Noni became a mother via surrogacy.
