Psychedelics and the Brain: Reimagining Mental Health

This event is in the past. View latest events

Description

As mental health challenges continue to rise, researchers and practitioners are revisiting a controversial question: could psychedelics play a role in modern therapy?

Once confined to counterculture movements, substances such as psilocybin and LSD are now the focus of serious scientific research. Early studies suggest potential in treating depression, PTSD and addiction, yet concerns remain around safety, ethics and regulation.

Bringing together voices from research and practice, we explore the evidence behind psychedelic therapy, the risks involved and what their growing mainstream interest means for the future of mental healthcare. Are psychedelics a breakthrough in treatment, a cultural trend or something more complex?
