Description

You’ll know her from LadsLadsLads, Live at the Apollo and The Great British Sewing Bee. Multi-award-winning comedian Sara Pascoe joins us for a special in-conversation with Kasim Ali about her debut novel, Weirdo.

Weirdo follows Sophie, an Essex gal who does her best to act like a normal, well-adjusted person while trying not to say her inner-monologue out loud and suppress her mild paranoia, pornographic visualisations and pathological lying, while confronting the guy she likes and her past regrets. Who knows, maybe she’ll get the guy, dump the boyfriend and get to enjoy Christmas…

Full of Pascoe’s trademark wit and humour, Weirdo is a little bit messy, a little bit weird and a lot-a-bit funny.
