Mostafa Salameh is one of only 13 people ever to climb the Seven Summits and conquer both the North and South Pole, known as the ‘Explorers Grand Slam’. Born in Kuwait to Palestinian refugee parents, it was never Mostafa’s intention to become a climber. However, in 2004, whilst living an indulgent party lifestyle in Edinburgh, a vivid dream changed his life forever.

Seeing himself standing upon the world’s highest peak reciting the call to prayer, Mostafa felt that he had experienced a divine intervention and took it upon himself to make the profound dream a reality. In 2008, Mostafa became the first Jordanian ever to climb Mount Everest.

Join chair Colin Philpott, and share in Mostafa’s incredible story of scaling the highest peaks and conquering the deadliest landscapes, all the while spreading his inspirational message of tolerance and faith throughout the world.
