Syed Salman Chishty hails from the Chishty Sufi family of Ajmer Sharif, the hereditary custodians of the 11th century Sufi shrine of Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Hassan Chishty. A founding member of the Chishty Foundation, he has served as its director for the last five years. He has also written several articles on Sufism and spiritual understanding for various national and international publications.
